I just picked these two PWA carbines for $1550.  They are in excellent to like new condition.  How do you guys think I did on the deal?  I have never heard a lot about PWA, but they looked like really nice guns.  The guy even tossed me in a cleaning kit and a couple thermold mags.

sounds like a pretty damn good deal to me!
any preban under 800 in like new condition is a good deal.  unless you meant 1550 for each, in which case, you got on the short end of the stick in a bad way!

btw- if you dont need both of them, i've got some trades you might be interested in

have fun

I gave $1550 for everything. How good are the PWA guns?  It looks like a very nice gun and looks like it's a forged lower.

PWA's are supposed to be towards the better end of the spectrum for preban ar's trailing only bushmaster and colt. and yes i do believe that they are forged, but someone correct me if im wrong.  Troy will know...

What are these PWA commandos selling for these days?  I might sell one of them, but I don't know what to ask since I haven't seen many PWA's.

Was able to get out this afternoon abd try one of these babies out for size.  She eat everything I feed her and had some left over for my .22 conversion kit.  These are super nice little guns and very smooth.  I will probally sell one of the two though to buy a new Schmidt & Bender 34mm tactical scope to put on an LTR.  Do you guys think I could get $1000-$1100 for one of these?  I will more than likely list on GunBroker in the next few days.

Skip Gunbroker's silly fees and just put it in the Equipment Exchange for about $1050 or so.

Is should go quickly.

Check out my post with the colored etching!

For the umpteenth time, PWA is now known as Rock River Arms. They are not of any lesser quality than Colt or Busmaster.

Great deal.

(I picked up a pre-ban plain jane .308 (civilian version of M14) for $925 in my travels.......had 6 30rnd mags and 1 5rnd for hunting and case.)

As Troy said, they are seperate companies, but PWA's quality is every bit as good as Bushmaster or Colt. I also have a PWA 16" pre-ban and will never sell it (unless I get the right offer, of course!). If it were me, I'd keep them both and build a nice M4gery from one of them.

Good deal!  I have had a PWA shorty with a Colt A2 upper for years and I am very pleased with it.  If you post on Equipment Exchange let us know so we can try to beat every body else to buy it!
