For those of you with Ruger Mk. II pistols (5.5" bbls), here are a few options for holsters.
A friend has the Phoenix holster and it is a very well made product with good attention to detail. I went with the Eagle Industries Mk. V holster which is also a very well made product. You can't go wrong with either. If you're ordering the Eagle Mk. V or Mk III, you have to specify the fit as 1911 Govt. The Ruger Mk. II will fit the 1911 sized holster. I have not tried the Ruger 22/45.
Adv. Armament Phoenix Holster
Similar in design to the M9-Holster, the Phoenix Holster from London Bridge is designed to hold an Advanced Armament Corp. Phoenix silenced Ruger MKII .22 LR pistol Auxiliary storage compartments accommodate two spare magazines for the Phoenix pistol and a magazine loading tool. Available colors are black, O.D., desert camo, and woodland camo.
Adv. Armament MKII Holster
The MKII Holster is similar in design to the M-9 Holster and will carry a 5.5" barreled Ruger MKII, Browing BuckMark, a Scarab, Recon, or Pilot silencer, and a spare magazine.
Eagle Industries Mk III
The MK III Holster has a solid belt hanger sewn on the back with one leg strap. The belt hanger is made of heavy 2" wide webbing. This set-up restricts the holster and the weapon from moving forward or backward on your leg while running or crawling. Standard MK III Holster comes with mag pouch sewn on the holster.
Eagle Industries Mk. V
The Eagle MK V features the new adjustable hanger system. For greater stability, the hanger is three layers of heavy 2" scuba belt webbing triple box stitched to the body of the holster. For better fit the height adjustable hanger uses Mil. Spec. hook and loop fastening system that lets you custom fit the holster to your specifications. The MK V is constructed of heavy duty ballistic nylon.
Some had questions on the Eagle Mk. V.
It appears that the ruger pic you have shown sports the 10" barrel.
Thanks for the correction.
