I live in the Peoples Republic of Mass. Just ordered a few battlepacks of .223, I got an E-mail back yesterday from the company saying they don't ship to my zip code. What's up with this ?

Who did you order from?  I don't know your state's laws, but there's one company, can't remember who it was, that won't ship to certain states even though it's perfectly legal.  I know Illinois was included in their "Blacklist".  Guess they don't want the hassles of dealing with unfriendly states.  Plenty of other places to order from.

The company is Sportsman's Guide.  The story behind it is that years ago, a yoot (youth) purchased a large knife, signed the disclaimer that said he was over 18, blah blah blah, and used the knife for "no good".  Well guess who they bought it from?  The victim's family sued SG stating that they shouldn't have sold the knife to a minor (never mind that they had no way of knowing the kid's age other than he signed that he was over 18).  Well the socialist judges (majority are so far left) in MA allowed the suit to go through and SG either lost or settled the case.  Because of this, they refuse to ship certain items (notice ALL ammo) to MA.  Keep in mind that in yesterday's news, the MA Supreme Judicial Court ruled that a mother of twin girls that were artificially inseminated by her deceased husband's sperm two years AFTER his death, is entitled to his Social Security Benefits, which contradicts US law (@ time of death, all beneficiaries must be named).  Obviously, there were no beneficiaries other than the wife at the time of death.  This state is FUBAR!

Right you are as to the company. I couldn't figure out why my SA .223 came in from CTD a month ago, and I was blown off by Sportsman's.
Thanks for heads up all.

I got one word for you my man, MOVE! I was born and raised there, but quickly moved up to Maine, and now live out here in Oregon. My family is still in Mass, but I could never get myself to move back. It's just evil over there. Hope things work out.
