I am going to refinish the stock on one of my AKs and was wondering what my options are to camoflage it. Are there any good films to apply to it? I was thinking of just painting it and then putting a satin poly over it.

I did this:

1) Paint the whole thing black.
2) Put masking tape on. Cut out the shape you want with an exacto knife. Leave the tape on where you want the shape to be black.
3) Paint the whloe thing the next darkest color. Follow step two until you are done.

With a little practice, it will look great.
