I sold my Glock 22 because I was not wild on the trigger pull. Glocks also don't seem to fit my hand as well as most other guns--I will keep my 10mm G20 however, because I like the caliber.
I just wound up with several "Hi" cap SIG P228 mags--I have a P228 in cold storage back in VA. So, I am going to trade my P229 in .40 for a 9mm P229. If anyone knows the going rate (or more specifically, rate difference) in the two guns I would be interested in hearing it.
So, I will be shortly--.40 less.
I am trying to keep some commonality to my mags--the .45's I have will be either HK USP's or 1911's. The 9mm's I have will be different, but the mags will be instantly recognizeable--Beretta 92, Browning HP, HK P7 and SIG P228/9.
What should I look at in .40's? I would ideally like to find something with slightly different mags than the other guns--i.e. a Beretta .40 or USP .40 probably wouldn't be what I was looking for. That definitely limits me--it is possible I will go back to a Glock 22 and 23 and put the 3 1/2 lb connector in, and that might help the trigger pull. Maybe a Walther P99. The gun doesn't have to have Hi-caps available, but it is a plus.
Any suggestions? I definitely prefer high quality guns. I am also not wild on the S & W auto's--I have a pair of 10mm auto's and am only keeping them for the caliber.
Thanks!!
