Since its a private sale, and it looks like private is the only way to go now-a-days.
What kind of AK?
If its pre-89, some more $$$.  If not, say $300?  Maybe $400?

The SKS say start around $200.

I would probably go $400 for the two, but not any higher.

Depending on what kind of AK it is you can find some of them out there for $300 or so NIB.

Also, with all of the new Yugo SKSs starting to show up, some in near new condition, I think this will drive the price of the Russians down some as well. These things are as nice if not nicer than the Russians I have seen.

1.  I think the Clayco sports Chinese rifles were Norinco prebans.  If it aint a MAK-90, chances are its a preban, and worth considerably more than you guys are thinking.  Probably more like $600 to $900

2.  Russian SKS's in good shape are worth at least $200-$250.  They are different than the chinese, because they qualify for curio&relic, and are worth more to the enhusiast and collector.

BTW... $300 NIB AK's are GONE.  You can still get bastardized lo-caps for that price, and junker Saiga conversions.... but real AK variants (especially NIB) are all in the $400 and up club nowadays.

The Russian SKS is the best SKS made...period!  So it is easily worth $250 in the condition you listed.

The AK, assuming it is a Norico, is one of the better AKs made.  Fit and finish is far superior to the el cheapo $200 Sar1/2/3s AK.  I would easily pay $300-$350 for it.

Yes you can find cheaper examples of both rifles....but remember that you get what you paid for.
