Last i heard it was $200 for a MG transfer.

far as i know its $200 to the federal govnt no matter who it is from. i suppose some dealers charge a fee, probably not much though. total it will definitly not be under $200

Tax is $200 per item except AOW which is $5. One time tax for a trasfer, not annual or anything like that.
Add for two passport photos and two fingerprint cards. FP fees vary widely, often free. Transferring dealer's fees vary a lot as well. Mine charges $50, sometimes less. CLEO signature SHOULD be free but some people make doantions to CLEO's favorite charity to get prompt consideration. I am fortunate; mine is honest and such BS is not required! |
