Remington uses the (poor) term "metal case" to mean "full metal jacket", which in turn means a bullet with no exposed lead at the tip (i.e., the front and sides are fully covered by a jacket, usually of copper, and sometimes of mild steel).
That term, as they use it, does not mean that the cases are made of steel; they are brass. It won't hurt your rifle. Shoot it. -Troy |

What Troy said, and don't buy into that crap about the steel cased ammo wearing chambers. The steel case ammo is laquer coated and should act as a buffer between the case and the chamber wall.
