I have a bunch of UMC 223 metal case. I have read on this board not to use metal case  because of erosion at the chamber. Really, can I shoot this stuff up? My rifle is new less a couple hundred rounds and it's a J&T kit on a bushy lower. It's not an expensive rifle and I intend to shoot it a whole lot. So will a few hundred rounds of metal case really wear or hurt it much.

What Troy said, and don't buy into that crap about the steel cased ammo wearing chambers. The steel case ammo is laquer coated and should act as a buffer between the case and the chamber wall.
