I have an 16 inch shorty that I am trying to reduce the weight a bit, plus the I like the m4 look. does anyone know who makes the best fixed but stock, prefferably with the full length buffer tube. thank you in advance for any suggestions.

Most companies are making them these days. I have one from RRA that came on the 2001 LEGP rifle, but I removed it and installed an A1 buttstock. I don't care for the fake telestocks, but that's just a matter of preference.

It is an excellent deal. Here was happy to pick one up for 75 bucks and this...Oh well.

I had an RR ("old styles")and just today switched it with a Bushmaster. Have to say the Bushmaster feels alot more sturdy. The RR would come undone, or twist and come out of alignment with the gun. The BM looks and feels stronger. I'll let you know how it feels after I put a few hundred rounds through it this weekend.
