A friend purchased this pistol and brought it over for a cleaning.  I used to own a P89, which dissasembled easily by pulling the slide to the rear, line up notch, pull out takedown lever, push slide forward and it all comes apart.  This pistol didn't do it[:\].  The slide would not go forward of "battery" on the frame.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have a P85 and to disassemble it you have to lock the slide back.  Then reach into the ejection port and tilt the ejector forward.  You can then line up the notch and pull out the slide stop lever and remove the slide by pushing it foward.  Hope this helps.

Here I took a 1-2-3 pic to walk you through it.  Do everything else the same.

Oh yea, don't let the slide come "home" on your finger!
