for a Mauser K-98 in 308 (one of those Israeli conversions)  i dont much care for the originals, and since i plan on cuttin off the barrel to about 18'' i need something lighter...(not really makin a "scout rifle", more like a "truck carbine ;) )  also, i would rather have synthetic over wood...
