Just thought I'd let those who care know that things at home have finally taken a direction.

This morning I contacted my attorney and I filed for divorce.

My estranged wife and I spoke for a total of about 5 hours by phone late last night and early this morning.

I had told her that I was willing to try and work things out but not without immediate family/individual counseling.  Otherwise, no dice.

She did finally agree that her son has some serious discipline/attitude/authority problems but alas, she lived up to her MO and blamed his shortcomings on me.  How Lame!

Anyhow...she said that she found that she could not agree to my terms (would not is more like it) and thus, a path was chosen.

I am okay with this....basically.

I do love her but do not think she loves me as a woman should.

I also hate the emotional and mental loss but do fear the price would have been greater had I stayed in what by all indications appeared to be a futile situation.

I am not gettng reamed..............and best of all I get to keep all my guns (cept the HK USP40c which is hers) and I get my truck, tools, clothes, some furniture, the Polaris, the computer and my dog, Maggie.

Thank you for all your words of advice and wisdom (some of you anyhow ha ha) and for your concern in general.

A better day cometh!

Go Army and all that!
