What would be the best way to polish the feed ramps? I dont want to have to remove the barrel if possible so lets not try and start there. The reason I think I need to polish them is while hunting this weekend the Winchester Supreme 64gr lead tipped bullets would get hung up when I tried to charge the gun slowly.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.

The reason I am charging the gun slowly is because while sitting in my deer stand I dont want to just let one rip and scare every damn thing in 3 counties away!!

I will need to get something other than the stuff I have now to polish this thing I suppose. Oh well just another good excuse to spend $$$

I have used blue and red Cratex rubber tips with a Dremel tool to achieve a mirror finish on several pistol feed ramps.

What's that? You say you don't have a Dremel tool? Go get one, immediately if not sooner!

Why are you still sitting there!?

my solution is to lock and load before you leave the patrol base to encounter the enemy or take you position in your hide;)
