Anti: Each model of handgun must be tested, even if the finish is different.
For example:
Say Company X makes a 1911 in stainless steel and in parkerized.
They spend the money to get the parkerized model certified Kali legal ($10,000+), and the parkerized model becomes legal for sale in Kali.  The stainless gun WOULD NOT be legal for sale in Kali, since the finish is different and it hasnt been tested.

I bet an AR15.com commemorative edition would count at least as a different finish, and you would have to pay the cash to get it tested for sale in Kali.

blah! Kali-legal... All I care about is whether it's AZ-legal. (A better question would be.. What isn't AZ-legal?)

Thread Updated!

The model is a Springfield "PX9109L", and should be within the $650-$700 range...  Retail is $796.
