ok, I know...
This really does'nt belong here but I have an opportunity to get one of these guys for $500.00 NIB. I'm not looking for a tack driver and as long as I can get 1-2" @ 100 with factory ammo, I'll be happy since it will be a meat getter (pig, goat, etc). Your thoughts would be deeply appreciated.

I picked one up that had the SS reciever and it is a great gun.  Seems like luck of the draw though.  I have heard some real horror stories about some of the rifles...seems like most of them attributed to the hesse stamped recievers though.  Try to get the Stainless reciever.  If you can try to remove the trigger group from the reciever as some of them dont come out, and cant really service the rifle real well without it.  Also it seem like the front sites are often off quite a bit.  Many have had to send rifles back for repair of this problem.  If you dont mind having to deal with some small issues, they are great values.  Accuracy shouldnt be a problem..1" might be a little tight though..not sure????
