Who has seen--used---tested the new OA-98?
I noted that they are very careful not to claim that it will accept all GI mags. Some shops in Northern Virginia area are taking orders for the OA-98, charging over $2,000.00.

I haven't tried them but I recall Oly having another variant that looked better IMHO. Also the company that makes carbon15 ARs has a pretty cool little AR pistol for about the same money.

Kind of interesting, but damn is it ugly!

Is this pistol actually for sale?

Been advertised since 1998. . . . .

Boy, I hope no one here pays $2000+ for this. For that money, I'd try to find a deal for a pre-ban pistol by Rocky Mountain or Bushmaster.

FWIW - I have not heard very good things about the Carbon AR-15s. I've handled a couple and fit and finish is not worth it. I've even "heard" of the upper receiver cracking even within the first 50 rounds. Buyer beware.

There was a thread a couple of weeks ago where a member said he thinks it is possible to build a pistol under 50 oz.
