I completely fell in love with the Garand when I finally got a chance to shoot one. Great sights, a two-stage trigger that is easy to shoot accurately with, soft recoil, and .30-06 punch!
They are a little heavy, and you can't top off the mag, but they have a great history vibe that makes you forget the drawbacks when you hold one.

I guess in match the up close and personal stages with a short compensated AR gives me the biggest rush,I mean theres just dirt and brass and peices of target flying everywhere sometimes. But when i got the range to myself,it still amazes me  what a well setup and properly fed bolt gun will do......

You mean this one??

Sorry, just had to do it.  Seriously though, you should come to the next FDCC shoot, "Full Auto" Tom usually comes to most of them.  Last time he also let us shoot his belt fed Stoner M-63 too.  Man, what a gun.

I love shooting accurately. I have moved away from trap and towards rifles due to an burgeoning obsession with accuracy.

Just give me an accurate rifle and I'll be happy.

Q. - What types of firearms do I love to shoot?

A. - All of them.

(That is, of course, the only proper reply to such a question...)

Actually, my two curent favorites are the American 180 (an 1800rpm .22), and the Browning 1919.

I loved to shoot all of my guns....but....unfortunately, all of my guns were stolen. This included all of my ammunition, cleaning kits, empty shell casings from my yard, records and photograph's of every gun I have ever owned in my life are all gone. Also my "Hard Drive" from my computer is missing. I am using the office computer for this "Statement of Fact". Basically I am now defenseless.
