Are we not counting buttplates? I'm seeing some long guns which either don't show the buttplate, or show what appears to be polymer or plastic ones. Is rubber allowed? Just unclear about what qualifies.

I have none. Even my custom 1903 has plastic grip cap, poly recoil pad and spacers. My metal framed pistols have polymer grips. Even my Marlin 1895 again has a polymer grip cap and recoil pad. Wait, I do have a flintlock pistol with no polymer.
