I got Preston Precision pic rails for mine and stripped two myself while taking off the MLok rails. But for me I took a dremel and cut a thin line into the head of the screws then heated them up and removed them with a flathead. It was a major pain in the ass, though. |

I’ve been considering getting an 11” and SBRing it, keeping it in basic military format just to have one.
Anybody with a Bren 2 11” 5.56 have any complaints with theirs? |

Good suppressor host with the HBI plug and the trigger is really good for a military style rifle (especially with the HBI trigger shoe). I like the fact that it's lighter than its non-AR competitors. |

ETA: I doubt the Bren 2 will get discontinued, having a stash of spare parts for any rifle is always a good idea. |

Is there a place to buy the new taller iron sights that come on the Scorpion 3+? I want to try a set on my Bren 2 SBR.. I love the older Scorpion sights but they're not tall enough.

I have 4 Bren 2s, one SBR, and other 3 with permanently attached muzzle devices to make them rifles. One is in 762 and I like them all. Also have. Bren 805 SBR.
I’m certain that Bren 2 is here to stay. It has been adapted by few countries as primary issue rifle. Unlike Sig 556, it was an interpretation of Swiss 55x poorly executed by Sig US for domestic market. I have 2 of them, one converted to 551 LB clone. To be honest they aren’t bad rifles but not what people wanted. |

CZ USA sure is a pain in the ass to order from, they only ship signature required and won't change it until it's returned to them.

After messing with torque values on the handguard screws, I'm really starting to like this 'lil guy! Went 1 for 1 on torso sized steel at 1,2, 3, 350, 4, 5 and 600 yards with M193 spec.

Which barrel length is that, 14.5 or 16? Does handguard torque affect POI shift? |

No it's still in production. I have x2 11.5" Bren2 5.56 pistols that I'm satisfied with and I'm about to list my NIB 16" Carbine on GB and here when I return from this deployment.

Here's some info that I had come up with a couple years ago for the torque values on the handguard Link I have the new 10.8" handguard and the torque setting for it is 45 in/lb - Although I didn't do that. Just an FYI: CZ Spec on those four barrel screws is 70 in/lb I torqued in values of 5 in/lb increments up to 70 in/lb, which is factory spec. While torqueing, made sure barrel was seated properly, BCG assembly with recoil spring inserted / bolt was in chamber... ie, removed lower. At 65 and 70 in/lb, there was resistance on the charging handle and BCG. It was not smooth. So I took it all apart, added new Nord-Lock washers, made sure barrel was seated properly, BCG assembly with recoil spring inserted / bolt was in chamber and did it again to confirm. Confirmed not smooth. At 60 in/lb, no resistance, smooth normal function. I took it all apart again, added new Nord-Lock washers, made sure barrel was seated properly, BCG assembly with recoil spring inserted / bolt was in chamber and torqued to 60 in/lb. All smooth. All good. |

I started out with 30 in/lb and settled on 35 in/lb with blue loctite. I also used teflon tape on the can's direct thread mount. So far so good!

This last weekend I got done with my x39 Bren 2 MS's third 3 gun match. Ran absolutely flawless.
First day of the match was heavy pouring rain too, I left it on the rack uncovered to kinda test its might in not normal conditions. 0 issues. I feel bad for you guys with x39's who have issues, b/c this is a fricken great gun! |

Love mine x39 as well.

Serial number plate for countries where the lower must be serialized?

I'm looking to get one of these.
I held one at a local shop here yesterday and didn't notice lower isn't serialized. Most of the Brens there in GB doesn't have this plate. By the way, is there any reaction rods compatible with this for removing flash hider? |

Do the 5.56 Bren 2s run steel cased ammo without issues?

Yours may be a bit more extreme than most but all mine (all 5.56mm) have it to some extent. Order spares from CZ-USA parts Don't think that's a warranty issue but you could try. The stock adapter is shit... That is all. Haga has a wobble kit, oos most of the time or you could just stick some tape or something in gap. |

Let me know if they warranty it so I can reach out as well if they do. |
