Lee-Enfield No.4 Mk1 with scope for $85. All matching numbers and still own it. That was early 80's.

I used Ruger P95, I believe from a pawn shop.  Unsure of round count, but I'm betting it was pretty high.

Jennings J-22. It actually worked well, until it flew out of my pocket to the asphalt while rolling a Volvo 142S sideways 7 times. Then it developed a tendency to jam once in a while. Seriously.
First serious sidearm was a Charter Arms Off Duty 38Spl snub a year later.

Winchester 1300 Ranger 12 gauge.  Still have it but a lot of the blueing is wore off.  Shot a lot off birds and clay pigions.

M91/30. Paid $99 for it back in 2011. To this day it's the only gun I own that I would never consider selling, and I own a SCAR 17 and an SLR-104FR among others.

The first firearm I bought was a Ruger P95DC, much like the one near the top of the page, except mine has a plum colored slide. Bought it used for something like $275, it came with 10rd Clinton-era magazines. Still have it, but haven't shot it in awhile.

The first new firearm I bought was a Ruger SP101 3" .357 Magnum.

Keltec P-11. Bought it at a gun show for $220 and sold it to a pawn shop a year later for $40. Would have kept it if I could make it through one, just one magazine without some kind of malfunction.

1969 Remington Varmint Special 243 In 1989. I had just turned 18.  Found it in a used rack.

Fantastic rifle.

I need a lot better glass glass for it.

Got this when I was in high school, a Dan Wesson M15-2VH6.  My dad purchased it for me brand new.  Bluing was wearing so I had it Metaloyed.  I added the 2.5" and 4" barrels later.

Loved the look (yes it's ugly) and the feel and the trigger (aside the LOOOONG reset), but it just wouldn't function reliably

Bought it with my dad from a dealer he knew. Had great prices on Sigs, but had this and a P229 beside it for sale for the same price, but I just had to have the ugly poly one.

My first firearm was an used Smith & Wesson Model 439, which I purchased back in 1985... Didn't know too much about guns, but wanted a 9mm...  Should have bought the Model 59.

Sold it two years later, only to buy another one back in 2010.

2007   FNH PS90 on the LEO/MIL program for $735. Ended up trading it in 2009 for a Benelli M4. I've still got the Benelli.

*The first gun I ever paid for, but didn't take possession of for about 6 more years was a 1994 Remington Sendero VSSF 22-250. I've still got it with the Leupold 6.5-20x50mm I put on it the same year.
