AR180B So has Armalite released a new version of this model.. I know they had a poll on there website months back asking people what changes they would most like to see on this model. I want to purchase one but am waiting to see what the new version is about if it ever comes out that is.

Not yet, but I have heard they will have a non-ban AR180B availible for sale this summer. It will include a Ace style side-folding stock, A2 FH and bayonet lug*which is availible now*. I don't plan on waiting, so the next used AR180B in good shape that appears at my favorite fun shop, I will buy and add the Stormwerks folding stock adapter and Armalite bayolug while my smith will chop the barrel to 16 inches and attach an A1 birdcage. So, it appears a non-ban AR180B will be availible for sale this summer....but if you can't wait, build your own. I don't see the Armalite version being any different than models people have made themselves except that it will cost more.

And summer will be two years since the end of the '94 AWB...

If they are releasing one, is it going to have the polymer lower? I hope they build one without that, and have a stamped lower
