Don't know if anyone has an experience with using BIRCHWOOD Target Dots for sighting in a rifle and scope.

But, chime in if you can add anything.

I use the 1" Spot at 50 yards, the 2" Spot at 100 yards and the 3" Spot at 200 yards.

I was going to try the 1" at 100 yards, 2" at 200 yards and 3" at 300 yards using 14X power.

This will allow me to see the same size target at three distances.

Am I all wet ?  Do I need more magnification ?  Are there other series of target for long range you can recommend ?

14x should work just fine with the dots you intend to use. The 1" 2" 3" dots at 1,2,300 yds should work well, Just for fun, try the 2" dot at 300..
