I just purchased a DPMS Panther arms AP4 and would like to know if you guys have had good luck or bad luck with this weapon.

Got to shoot one last weekend. It was a very sweet shooter. Recoil was very mild compaired to my HK clone (was using South African surplus) and I was pleased how fast I could get back on target for follow up shots. I like my AR, but have always prefered to shoot .308   This is the rifle the AR should have been from the begining.

Another 12 weeks here waiting.  Spoke to DPMS, they are working hard on it

Did you buy the .223 or .308 AP4?

I have the .223 AP4 and it works great. It took a long time to DPMS to build it because I went with a Chrome lined barrel.

But it was worth the wait...and it was cheaper than Bushmaster.
