MAK 90 (sporter/thumbhole stock version), $300
Ruger Mk III or 22/45, $250-$300
G19 (2nd Gen), ~$400

what i have: WASR-10 & G17--so i got the mags

what i dont have yet, and been meaning to get for a while: .22lr auto pistol b/c 9mm/.45apc is starting to kill my wallet...

yet the mak 90 i think is for a pretty good price and they are no longer this cheap (or available) lately....

G19, well i have been meaning to get one sometime, and this is the best local price i have seen

budgets limited for the next month (~$400 max), so what should i opt for next?

i was thinking the mak, but only b/c it might be gone soon and the glock and ruger i can always find in the future for around the same price

Ruger .22 so you can shoot more. There's no substitute. If it was me I would look for a Mark II or an older 22/45, I don't like the new changes. But the new ones are fine too.

For .45 you need a SIG 220/ST. The best all around .45 ever made.

I voted for the Ruger .22 handgun, but when I got mine, I bought a used MKII 5 1/2 bull barrelled model, because I hate all the lawyer crap on some of these new guns.

I just picked up a MK II back in November, something I've wanted since I was a kid. Love it....bonus is that it's so cheap to shoot.

If you want a 22, you could always get one of those browning buckmark pistols.  They even make a little carbine version that shares magazines with their pistols.  The come in all sorts of configurations.  They seem like a solidly built pistol.

A second AK type would be ok to.

You always need at a minimum two CCW pistols (preferably of the same make model and caliber) and two SHTF EBR (preferably of same make and model)

Get the Mak to go with the AK and pick up another Glock when you can.  A 22 pistol and rifle could be added later as well.  That would give you 2 AK types sharing mags ammo, 2 Glock type pistols sharing mags and ammo and a 22 pistol and 22 rifle (if you go browning) that share mags an ammo.

I have to wait until may to get my CCW, damned 120 days

Given what you already have and the selection of wants, I would go for a .22 pistol. I'm not going to recommend a specific brand though. I think if you select from any of the major manufacterers you will make a decent selection.
