Thinking of getting some for a 6.5x55 swede, anyone shot any of any caliber? How was it?

Thanks,

Wolf Gold is like a limited model edition Yugo, IMO. Not worth it.

Goes boom, somewhat cleaner, a lot more accurate, cheaper than a dollar a round = keeper.

Wolf Gold is supposedly made by Prvi Partisan.

Supposed to be good stuff, but I've never tried it.

I don't think they make it in .223...yet.

SG had some .223 Wolf Gold in 200 round battle packs, but were sold out when I finally got the $$$ to get them.

I believe those battle packs were NATO spec ammo, brass cased but not actually the "Gold" product.

Some people obviously think if a company made a poor product, that they can't improve quality and make better products.  I mean, who would want to do that?  What would they gain?  Market share?  More revenue?

Pssh.

/sarcasm off

From the few comments I've found about the Wolf Gold in 7.5 Swiss, it's pretty good.  Not as accurate as the GP11 stuff, but ok.  The brass is OK, so you can keep it and roll your own stuff with it later.  I can't remember if what I read said it was dirty or clean, though.   I'd put up with a little extra cleaning for a source of decent ammo and good brass.

I believe a company can, should, and sometimes does improve their product in effort to gain more customer support and market share.
