A local Gander Mountain is selling this rifle (they've got a .30-06 and a.308 in stock) for $270 plus tax. I like the heft of it, and the cost of it, but I'm not sure of the point of it. It'd need a scope. They seem to be discontinued. Any opinions or experiences?
