What kindo of stocks do you guys like for standard uzis? I know that it is my duty to get the most evil configuration (folding stock), but do any of you like the wooden fixed stocks? The only uzi I ever shot was a full auto with a wooden IMI stock. It seemed to work well. How well do the folding stocks work in comparison? I've been toying with the idea of the vector for awhile. Just wondering what version works best.

Not trying to hijack the thread, but I've been thinking about buying an Uzi and was wondering if anyone makes a decent looking fake can to hide that 16" barrel sticking out? I like the one shadeone has but how does it attach? Thanks

mine attaches to the front barrel nut.. my mini is a pistol and doesnt have a long barrel in the front.. the silencer i have is from ssgknives.com but would not hide a 16 inch barrel... there is a guy at uzitalk.com making some REALLY nice nylon fake shrouds here: http://www.uzitalk.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=13216

There was a guy on AK-47.net that had made some out of nylon or something that covered the 16 inch barrel......

I got to fire a full auto along with an MP5. I liked the Uzi better! Uzi had been modified to fire at 900rmp, same as the MP5, so it was apples to apples. The uzy cheekweld was NOT as nice as the MP5, but the weight made it easier to control, and therfore more accurate for me, and more pleasurable to shoot. I also just think it looks.......evil

I think the cheekweld is horrible! I've shot a full-auto Uzi a few times and I liked the MP5 better but, the UZI was still a great gun... For me, the semi-auto doesn't come close enough to the real thing...  Do the semi-auto UZIs shoot from an open bolt? If so, I might get one!
