I'm going to order 1000 rounds of Wolf for my future Yugo SKS from Cheaper Than Dirt. The 7.62x39 HP and the FMJ cost the same. What should I order for paper punching? Thanks.

Nobody has an opinion?

Both the same price???

I still think the FMJ would be more accurate at range for paper punching.

Probably doesn't make a lot of difference as long as you get new production non-corrosive.

I've been using the new production State Unitary Enterprise Production Association Ulyanovsk Machinary Plant stuff that AIM sells.

It's in a white box with blue bands. It says 124 gr. FMJ non-corrosive.

I'd stick with non-corrosive if possible.

I have been to ranges where FMJ wasn't allowed.

I would not be too surprised at anything ranges come up with.

Indoor ranges will want non FMJ. If you get the hollowpoint you can shoot bambies.

Ok, thanks guys, guess I'm going to get FMJ . Troy, isn't manufacturing HP harder than FMJ though? Why would they even make it if it is harder to make and doesn't perform any better than FMJ? Thanks.

I've used both Wolf 7.62 FMJ and HP in my AK, and the HP seemed a lot more accurate. Just my exerience. Why not get 500 of each?

In your case I would have to rcomend the FMJ because I have found that it cycles better and is more accurate. Also, I have retrived bullets fired into trees, and the hollow points do expand prety good. Although that was in a tree. I have no experience with the 7.62x39 in flesh so Im probably not the best authority in that matter. Plus evry one wants HP
