about 7 times the fire.

I have a cap lock that give me trouble every now and then.

But the inline 209 blasts every time, and with no delay at all.

The 209's are a lot hotter. Even hotter than the musket caps and I'm sure they are more reliable too.

209s are easier to handle.
You can't squish them.
You don't need a nipple, so there is one less piece to maintain/lose.
Bigger hole in the breech is less likely to become blocked.
As long as you are using an in-line, you may as well use 209 primers.
