None of my buddies are home, so I have to tell someone about this. I got one damn good deal. I just picked up a preban Colt Lightweight Sporter five Colt 20rd mags, four USGI 30rd mags, and a Galati case for $650.00. He said he had it advertised for four days, and I was the only caller. Now is that luck or what.
Damn I fell good.

Yes it was in a local ad paper, and on a local internet for sale forum. I seen it on the net forum and emailed him to ask the serial number. He emailed me back the number, and sure enough it was a preban. I got his phone number and called for directions, and told him I would be right there. The rifle is almost prefect except for a few rub marks from being in a case....By the way $650 was his firm asking price. I still can't get the grin off my face

Congratulations. Everytime I look at mine I get a twinge of guilt for what it cost me. I never have paid less for a gun than what it was worth and never have got what it was worth when I sold it.

i was never one for luck, only the bad kind, but the other day i thought i was gonna steal a gun from some poor lady.............
ad in the paper said NIB AR15 preban + ammo + mags $800................... called her and everything was sounding great until i asked who made it............. can you guess? Hesse. |
