Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Is this a good deal for a Sterling AR180 ?

A local Shop has a Sterling AR 180 for $ 899 w/ one AR180 mag and an original scope mount with cheapo 3x9 scope. Outside of rifle is VG but the bore has a few rough spots but looks quite shootable. Good /very good/fair/ OK Deal ???

That's a pretty good deal, IMO.

Scope mount, mag, and rifle...yah. That's a pretty good deal. Sterlings are the rougher makes....but for that price...I'd jump on it, personally.

My opinion alone...

You could have done a lot worse.. If you like the way it shoots, consider saving and hunting for a Howa, or Costa Mesa made '180..

semi fair....see if they will clean up the bore and make sure it's dry when you check it...could just be fouling.
