I was surfin the net yesterday and ran accross the CZ .308 Laminated Varmint.  It looked like a very nice rifle for 700 dollars.  Would appreciate any feedback on the quality of CZ.  I have heard their bolt action .22s are pretty hard to beat but i have never heard anything about their centerfire rifles.

I have the CZ550 Varmint with the Turkish Walnut stock. It shoots really well. It has an adjustable single set trigger. I never needed adjusting it as it came from the factory.

I have used it for varmint hunting in NM and shot an 8-point buck with it last weekend. It likes S&B .308 which is good since that is less than $10 for 20 rounds.

You should be able to get one with scope rings for $500-ish.

I have a 550FS in a 6.5SE my dad has one (550FS)in a 308, will shoot one hole groups all day long at 100 yards..  Very few rifles impress me as much as CZ has.  I will be adding more to my collection.
