I think it could be done... weld a fake silencer or flash suppressor onto the barrel to meet minimum length requirements (barrel and overall), change the caliber, make ten-round mags (), anything else that would need changing?  Oh, and semi-auto, obviously.

It would be pretty neat, IMO.

Thoughts?

That sounds like a lot of work...  We should just repeal some stupid laws and then sell it like it is.

I saw one up close last week... not sure what I think to tell the truth... didn't get to fire it.

I believe the ammo is LEO only.

Correct, the ammo is the restricted iten.  I believe that there has been some discussion of producing a five-seven pistol for civilian sales when/if they get the ammo problem worked out.

The P90 will never hit the civilian market as anything that remotely resembles the original gun.

I'm holding out hope for a TAVOR

just think you could even have the flash hider on it with enuf U.S.A parts, because it is designed with a thumbhole stock.

It's one of my favorites hope some one does it.

other then the fact that you would have to increase the barrel length and change the caliber, mags would be a big problem, because 10 round turntable mags wouldn't really be long enought to look right, or lock on the orignal gun. I would love to have a civilian P90, but I think that will have to wait until after the ban when you could get proper mags. Heck if they came out with a semi only version after 04' I would be tempted to go through the hassel of getting it as an SBR...(I'll be old enough to get class three by then, score!)

I too am waiting for the Tavor, I want one very badly!

Wouldn't they just need to lengthen the barrel beyond pistol length, then you could get it chopped. Also, I'd rather keep the same caliber, so that I could still come across some 50 round mags.

Heh, for as practical as it is, do what that last man did and buy the Airsoft. At least you can shoot your friends with it and not get sent to jail.

I've been considering the airsoft, even at $299, its a fun gun that I'll never be able to own in person.

I like how the FN guy is watching Jojo to make sure he doesn't abscond with the P90.
