Damnit!
New ARMS throw lever rings arrived yesterday. I was all psyched up to mount my new Burris BD on my bushy. I added a #38 S-ex to accomidate the longer scope and my old Loopie QD rings are 1". MSTN sent me a set of throw levers (great service.)
Being the dummy that I am, I figured the med rings would work. They don't. The Burris is a 50mm objective, it hits the rail at the front.
So now I get to send the Med rings back to MSTN and exchange them for high rings. $8 more bucks down the tube...but at least they will let me exchange them. I was planning a range trip this saturday, that plan is shot to shit.
I really need to start measuring things out before I spend the $.
Am I the only one who screws this kind of stuff up?
