It sure does look like a handy set up. I like bolt guns, and I like take-down rifles. This seems to be the best of both worlds...

^BTT^ because I think this is a hella cool rifle and a great idea. Somebody has to have an opinion on this thing.

Well, it's pretty cool, but you can build a better "takedown" rifle on the Model 70 by making it a switch barrel.  The integral recoil lug and flat bottom reciever make this a very simple option.

I have a couple of takedown lever action Winchesters, and I think they are neat - the best feature is the utility of breaking the gun down for cleaning from the breech!
