Does anyone have one of the SOCOM lowers that are on the first page of the Brownells catalog?

I have one. It is a cool receiver to own. However, the biggest drawback is that the mag well. The problem is that the lower has a straight mag well edge. It is not compatiable with Orlites or Thremolds mags bodies. Second, the first production run of the lowers the mag well specs is tight. Very tight. Some mags will work. Some won't work at all. However, the extra weight and the ability to tighten up the upper receiver. Makes it a solid rock platform.
