It has the following features:
16" barrel (barrel looks tapered in the middle, like an M4 type)
3 position collapsable stock
flat top receiver
bayonet lug
flash supressor
colt red dot aim sight
colt carrying handle
very good condition
1-30 rd. mag
serial # ST 024XXX
Asking price is $1900.00

What can you guys tell me about this rifle going by the serial number?

I agree, talk him down a bit. I got basically the same rig minus the red dot sight for $1350 three years ago.

I will go and try to talk him down. It would be nice if the would take $1700 for it. I doubt it though.
Where can I get info on the serial numbers?
