I have one of the Birdman Systems .50 pistols. They are brutal. Not very accurate, and they hurt the wrists to shoot, but you make an impression at the range. After installing one of Kurt's Kustom brakes on it, it was manageable.

Maybe it's just me but I say that image is a photoshop. Muzzle flash but none of the obvious recoil that should be there? Like I said, maybe it's just me.

With the latest available date at 5/14/96 for that picture, I doubt much photoshopping went into it

We have no idea what stage of firing she is in... but my photos of my shooting (.45's mostly) the noticable recoil (read movement of arms) generally happens after the flare of powder burn off...

Of course, you could contact Maadi-Griffin at 480-325-5623 ( www.maadigriffin.com/ ) and ask.
