Is there such an animal as Lee-Norton earvalves?  If so, where can I find out information on these hearing savers?  Any help is appreciated.  Thanks.

There used to be the Lee Sonic Ear-Valv, which were earplugs with cut off valves.  Supposedly you could hear normal sounds with these, but they would shut off to prevent loud sounds from getting to your ears.

I had a set but never really cared for them since they didn’t seem to reduce the sound enough.

I believe Silencio now sells this product as their Super-Sonic Earplugs.  See: www.silencio.com.  Brownells sells them.

The only Norton that I know of sells abrasives, whetstones, knife sharpening supplies, etc.  There is a North Safety Products which makes ear protection devices – see: www.northsafety.com.

Hope this helps!
