Well i don't, but sometimes I like to pretend, today I learned a new skill bump firing the 1911 its really fun and can be done if you have a light trigger pull pretty awesome unloading 10rds in no time but its pretty hard to control the mighty .45.

Look up the Israeli Bull. They have a video on their site of Mickie shooting one full auto with a big mag in it.

The problem, IME, with FA pistols is gaining any measure of control with anything beyond the first two or three rounds, especially if you are dealing with a weapon without forward grip.

Watch that video (and many other videos)... a lot of his shots are up in the air, wich might be a useful feature if we're ever attacked by an army of Yao Ming clones.

Long mountain outfitters had a transferable 1911 for sale that had been converted to select fire before May of 86. It's been sold for at least a year now

I have experience with the Glock M18 and the CZ-75A full auto pistols, both factory weapons.

They are hard to control at first, but a person with a good grip and stance should have no problem keeping bursts on target to roughly 20 yards.

I personally dont really see a need for them, but they can be controlled and used effectively.
