I was browsing USCav's website, and stumbled upon a "Special Forces Kevlar Vest." It says it's made out of 28 plies of Kevlar; does someone know about what protection leve that would be?

Also, is all of Cavpro's and USCav's body armor restricted to LE and military?

Not sure what Kevlar has to do w/ General Firearms Discussion, but believe that would approximate a Level IIA.

As to whether they'll sell one to you, why not ask them?

Mike

PS- perhaps a name change to Not-so Eagle Eye would be in order....

Add one more I.  Most IIIa vests have 28-32 layers of kevlar.  IIa is closer to 16-22 piles, I believe.
