Has anyone heard if special weapons is still trying to make a 5.56 belt fed upper for the ar15. Just wondering.

This one came from Todd's own mouth, or at least his keyboard, over on his HK-54 board.

But I'm betting it will never happen just like the SW50 .50 cal hk91 clone and the SW12 12 gauge hk91 clone.

Even if it does happens, it will probably function as poorly as his other creations...

Don't forget his Galil clone, his Sig550 clone, his Steyr AUG clone, his P7M7 (p7 in .45 acp) clone, etc...

Chech out the March 20, 2002 copy of SGN
on page 189. Its got the XMG belt fed machine
gun upper fot the ar15 - m16 lower. Its a 8mm
belt fed upper that fires auto when used with
a m-16 lower (700 rpm) and is stated to be a NON-NFA, ATF APPROVED, NON-ASSAULT WEAPON.
Complete upper with grade A parts $3,950.00
Looks great in the photo's and on the videos.
