I have been looking at a new Colt XSE pistol for a few weeks.  It looks like a good tight gun, but should I go ahead and spend the extra money to get the Gold Cup?  I can get the XSE for about $600 new, I think.  BTW, I don't plan on using the gun in competition, but just some everyday target practice.  For some reason I have had the urge for another .45 over the last couple months.  I had a loaded Compact Springfield that was absolute junk and a stripped down 1991 that I still have, but it lacks any character.  I also thougt about a Kimber, but I like the looks of the Colt's better.  How do you think I should go?
