I have a CMP 1903 Springfield that had a bum bolt.  The CMP replaced the bolt w/ no hassles/charge, but the new bolt doesn't match the gun anymore!  The rifle is all Springfield and the metal is black, but the bolt and the bolt safety part is now Remington and green.  It looks really dreadful and isn't very smooth either.  Where's a good source for Springfield parts for this gun?

You can check with Numrich.

www.e-gunparts.com/

But, before you go and buy a new bolt, see if the CMP would be willing to do another bolt swap.  The worst they can do is say no, right?

Good luck.

Seems like either Fulton Armory or Mil-Tech would be a possible source. Good luck.

Also, Springfield Sporters, 2257 Springfield Road, Penn Run, PA. 15765 usually has plenty of M1903 stuff.

Phone-724-254-2626

Their Shotgun News ad doesn't list a web-addy.
