Rem LTR long range groups

I got a chance to play with my new LTR @.308 Win today at longer ranges and got the following group sizes. All were shot with Federal GM 175. It was windy and most groups strung horizontaly. All were 3 shot groups. 400 yds=2-1/2", 500 yds=3", 600 yds = 3-3/4".

How many shots in a group?

My feeling is that 10 is a minimum for any statistical validity . . .
