How far are you planning to shoot out or is this more for CQB where a dot will suit you better. It depends on what you plan on shooting. If it's for plinking then any scope with an the mount for a carry handle will do. If you have the bucks, then you may want an ACOG/Compact ACOG. You may not need magnification, so a Dot type optic on a goose neck mount/Rail system will suffice.

You really don't want a scope (i.e., a magnified optic) on a gun that's supposed to be a light, fast, close-range weapon.
What you WANT is a non-magnified dot/reflex-type optic (assuming you can't live with the irons alone). The BEST of these is the AimPoint CompML2, mounted out over the handguards as shown at the bottom of this pic:  The top AR in this pic is the "go cheap" method.
