HarryWombat,

350 is the highest I would pay.  Those things new cost about this much a few years ago.  If he won't go down in price buy a milspec springfield.

Norinco 1911 are of good quality and many custom guns have been built on their slides and frames.

 Just my .02

I just sold a new-unfired blue one in the box for 350,, but that was a great deal, I traded around and wasn't in it too heavy.. Actually a guy that sets up at gun shows wanted it for that price too.. so there was money to be made on it.. They are a really good gun,, I've owned 3, and they all shot really well,, better than 80 series Colts I've owned,, I think 350 is a better price,, unless it looks almost unfired, with box etc.. then maybe 375

$325 is what i bought mine for NEW.  That was a sale price back when you could get them.

400 is way too high, your getting close to a Colt M1991A1 at that price.

I presently own two and paid $175 for one and I think it was $210 for the other one, both at the same pawn shop about a year apart.

Nice gun, but not worth $400.

Too much! I bought mine 2 years ago for with all new Wolf springs and 5 mags for $220. I don't think they have gone up that much.It is a  good gun though. It will out shoot my Colt.

I've got 370 into mine thru a trade.  I almost bought one in '94 for 350.  Good gun. Throated bbl., ported, tight lockup. Just need the trigger smoothed out a bit.

I bought my 1911A Norinco (blued) 11 years ago and paid a total of $350.00.  In my opinion, this is a very effective weapon.  Depending on the amount of wear and tear on the gun, I do not think that I would pay more than the amount above for one in very good or better condition.  But, since they have not been allowed into the country thanks to Comrade Klinton, the prices can only go up in the future.

I bought mine two years ago for $225 and the dealer threw in new springs.

I love it, and would consider paying $350 for it. I outshoot Springfields with mine and the only mod is rubber grips.
