THeres been a lot of talk lately about it on www.rimfirecentral.com. Those who have it, mainly Chief Dave, seem to love it and see it as a revolutionary caliber

pointy bullets in a tube magazine would be kinda dangerous

Leitner Wise may make a 17hrm AR upper

Haha! Isn't that why it's a rimfire?

My old man just got the chambering reamer: still no ammo though (backordered).

Steamy windows,, Henery is supposed to be working on a lever gun,,,You a welder too...I'm laid off from CSX railroad.. DvlDog,, I have a 591,, and got a real deal on 4 boxes of ammo,,45.00 per box, if you can call that a real deal,, have 2.5 boxes now..Finally I will try it on paper and see how it shoots.. will be a much better round on larger game than the .17, I figure the 17 good for crows and smaller.

I don't have one but have read good things about it as a varmint cartridge. Really fast and effective.

BTW with a name like MoparLou you see like a nice guy

We got 3 of the marlins in the shop about 2 weeks ago, we finally got ammo this past week, (10 boxes)

Still waiting on the Ruger and the Anchutz

Yes, they are already sold.

As a side note, MoparLou mentioned 5mm Remington for $45 a box, I was looking for some the other day and this site has it listed for 20.00 a box, it looks like someone is manufacturing it.

MoparLou, Yea, been welding since 1977. I hope Henry makes one in the yellow boy, that would be cool.

I worked for the railroad too back in the late sixties middle seventies. Railroad jobs are hard to come by in this child pimping import economy we got going, hopefully what Bush did helped the domestic steel industry some so you can get back to work.

Of course the child pimpers are up in arms about it, because their pay depends on the free flowing sweat from some third world child somewhere whose life never gets any better.

Their fifty cents a week child labor pimp mantra "free trade is good for everyone bullshit." gets old also. Hope you get called back soon man.
