OK, the box of CorBon 135gr ammo says "1325fps"
I assume that this is from a 4 or 5 inch bbl, but I wonder what the difference in velocity would be between the G27 and G23, especially with the polygonal rifling, which is supposed to give you more velocity.

The Glock manual claims for a 23, 4" barrel, about 295m/s (968f/s), For a 27, 3.5" barrel, about 285m/s (935f/s). I assume the numbers are from some standard test ammo the use. Basically, a few percent increase in velocity for the 0.5" longer barrel.

According to several articles in Am Handgunner, ammo loses about 50fps per inch of barrel shrinkage of the full size gun. Thus a 4" barrel should be about 100fps over a 2" barrel.

This is generally speaking, of course.
