With an adapter, you can use it on a Galil. (I do not recommend it).

There is a guy over on the FalFiles doing FAL .223 conversion using AR mags. The craftsmanship looks outstanding.
BTW according to many who have used the Galil adapters they work well. |

Thats more than I thought! I recently decided to accumulate rifles only in 5.56mm except for two 30-06 from CMP, Garand and M-1903, so I have been thinking on this question also. My SA-58 FAL is eventually going to 5.56, and the AUG, Galil, FNC, AR-180B, ZM kit, Tavor, HK-93, SAR 3, Carbon 15, M-96, M-17, Deawoo, etc are all potentials for my safe whan I get one. Already got a Norinco 84S SBR on the way(krinkov), postban "A1" and a heavy DCM type AR.

The Beretta AR 70/90, SC 70/90 and SCP 70/90 all use the NATO Stanag 4179 magazine, ie M16 mag. More M16 mag using rifles -HK G41 -CIS SAR80, i guess CIS is Singapore Technologies nowadays. |

I pretty much use my adapter with AR mags pretty much all the time and have had 0 problems. I've used both the after-market UA marked adapter and the original IMI version, both work fine. |
